Facilities Use

The angler’s cabin, shower, and toilet are free to use. Please keep them clean and report any issues to the bailiff.

Fishing Equipment
-
Unhooking mats and retainer/weigh slings are provided free of charge.

Anglers must bring their own carp care kits and landing nets (minimum size 42″), which must be dry upon arrival.

Bait Regulations
-
All baits are allowed except artificial/plastic baits.
-
Particles and nuts must be properly prepared before arrival and used in moderation.

Bait Boats & Lake Boats
-
Bait boats are permitted but must be used considerately.
-
On-site boats may be used for baiting up and landing fish (deposit required).
-
A courtesy boat is available for retrieving snagged fish (personal boats are not allowed).
-
Life jackets must be worn at all times when using the boat.
-
Never use the boat under the influence of alcohol or medication.

Tackle Restrictions
-
Maximum of three rods per angler; rods must not be left unattended.
-
Minimum line strength: 15lb breaking strain.
-
No braided mainline, braided leaders, or lead core.
-
Fluorocarbon-coated leaders or tubing must be used.
-
No fixed leads; only safe rigs are permitted.
-
No fish sacking.
-
Micro-barbed hooks only.
-
Fish should be held on knees for photographs. And fish over 50lb to be held in water no photos to be taken out of water.

Swim & Environment
-
Fishing is only permitted from designated swims.
-
No ‘buddy’ bivvies between swims.
-
Anglers must not damage trees or lakeside vegetation. Routine maintenance of grass, trees, and swims will be carried out regularly.

General Conduct
-
No swimming.
-
No fires.
-
No defecating around the lake.
-
Drunkenness, antisocial or threatening behaviour will not be tolerated. Offenders will be asked to leave without a refund.

Waste Management
-
No rubbish should be left in the swims or around the property. Please use the bins provided.

Age Restrictions
-
The fishery is not suitable for children under 12.
-
Children aged 12-18 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.

Safety Measures

Remove all jewellery (rings, watches, chains, bracelets) before handling fish.
-

Additional Prohibitions
-
No tree climbing.
-
No loud radios.
-
No drugs on site at any time.
